Jeremy Savory, was born in South West London to deaf parents, Nicholas and Veronica Savory. The first grandchild of David and Sheila Savory, David being the last family member to run and benefit from Savory & Moore.
Other than travel, football has been Jeremy’s greatest passion and he is a committed Liverpool FC fan.
Jeremy attended fee paying school Emanuel School and then attended state school Wimbledon College, from the age of 14. He then went onto read French and Business at university, spending his third year of the degree living and working in Réunion and the surrounding islands of the Indian Ocean.
Having built a successful career after university in the UK and France, Jeremy moved to Dubai in 2008 having never visited the country before, but unfortunately that same week Lehman Brothers failed and the global financial crisis started spreading.
In 2010 he started his first business Savory & Partners which specialises in citizenship and residency by investment programmes. It would later grow to be one of the world’s largest citizenship by investment companies with 70+ staff across eight offices, and process in excess of 10,000 passports for its High Net Worth clients.
Jeremy has invested in over 30 properties in 10+ countries around the world sometimes living in them for extended periods of time. On the day he moved into his house in Lisbon he bumped into the President of Portugal (see photo). He would eventually meet over 13 heads of state including the Ruler of Dubai HRH Sheikh Mohammed Hamdan and Lord Cameron, former UK Prime Minister.
Since leaving home at age 18, he has visited over 90 countries, held residencies in over 10 countries, obtained multiple passports and move house 23 times over the intervening 27 years. He considers himself a perpetual traveller and an accidental entrepreneur.
In 2010 he visited South America where he met his wife, Elena. He proposed in Kenya, marrying soon after, and now have two sons, Sebastian and Matteo.
Jeremy is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
