Tim Savory

Tim is the second son of Peter and Jean Savory. He was born 23 June 1962, in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Tim grew up on a council estate for much of his youth, but still managed to get the best grades in his year and went to Warwick University to read English.

A political activist all his life, he joined the UK Communist Party and became regional secretary for the Coventry branch.

Later in his life, he worked for the emergency services as a call handler.
